How do I customize a Template once it's installed?
After downloading your new GoCo Template or Template Bundle, ensure that you customize it to fit your company's unique needs before using it. Check out this article to find out how!
Regardless of which template or template bundle you are using, one thing is very important: Always review the building blocks of your template before using it!
In order to review the building blocks for your template, you will need to check out the associated app. For example, if you are using a template bundle that includes a Workflow Template & a Custom Report, then you will first have to visit your Workflow App & then your Reports app before using it in real time.
If you are unsure of what a template bundle will include, before downloading, note the icons on the preview card in the Marketplace
& on the information page for each template or bundle.
Now that you know what your template or bundle includes, you can check out these help articles for customizing each specific app.
⭐Hint: The titles of the templates will match what you see when the template is fully downloaded. Ex. If the bundle from the photo above is downloaded, you will see the same workflow when you visit your workflow templates in draft mode.
- If your template includes a workflow, click here! With workflows, it is important to ensure that you are reviewing your Task Assignees, Task Due Dates, Custom & Workflow Fields, Workflow Permissions & all general settings like scheduling.

- If your template includes a Custom Report, click here! With Visual Reports that include graphs or charts, be sure to review your sorting & filtering.
