Introducing Goals and Enhanced Reviews in the Performance App
We are thrilled to introduce the new Goals feature within the Performance app, designed to help organizations efficiently set, track, and manage individual goals. In addition, we've made several enhancements to the reviews to further streamline your performance management process.
Goals Feature
With the new Goals feature, employees and managers can easily set and manage goals directly within GoCo. This enhancement provides:
- Better Visibility: Team members and managers can view goals clearly within the platform.
- Increased Accountability: Goals are tracked and managed efficiently, ensuring responsibilities are clear.
- Enhanced Engagement: Employees can stay engaged with their progress and understand how their goals align with the organization's objectives.
- Improved Decision Making: Managers have the information they need to make informed decisions based on goal progress.
🌟 We've also upgraded the Reviews feature to make the review process more seamless and informative:
- Comprehensive Employee Information: During reviews, you'll have access to all necessary employee information, including previous reviews, current and past goals, timelines, and employment history, without having to leave the review page.
- AI-Generated Summaries: Our new AI-powered tool will provide summaries and extract key information, making it easier to complete reviews accurately and efficiently.

Where to Find Goals and Manage Them
To access Goals navigate to your Performance App from the company page or left side menu.
At the top of the Overview page, you'll spot a tab labeled "Goals". Click on this tab to access the Goals page, where you can view a comprehensive list of your goals, complete with due dates, a progress bar showing percentage status, and the option to archive goals using the ellipses(...) button.
Full Access Admins and Managers can filter the Goals page by their own goals and those of their direct reports. Employees will only be able to filter by status.
📌 Pro Tip: By hovering your mouse over the user icon, you can easily see whether the goal was created by the employee or the manager.
To create new goals, simply click on the blue "New Goal" button located at the top right of the page.
