In the Performance App, both managers and employees can set Goals for themselves to improve their performance and track their progress.
There are two primary methods for creating these goals: through the Goals page or within the context of a performance review. Let's explore both approaches to help you effectively establish and manage your goals within the Performance platform.
Initiate from the Goals Page
When you log into GoCo and navigate to the Goals page, you'll notice a blue button labeled "New Goal" at the top right corner. Clicking on this button will launch a full-screen modal where you can begin creating your goal.
Initiate from Inside a Performance Review
GoCo makes it easy to access the Goals wizard during a performance review. When an employee is assigned a performance review to complete they will receive a notification in their GoCo inbox. Upon accessing the review they will find the Goals field to complete inside their task.
Whether you're a manager or an employee you will find a "Create New Goals" field within a review task. Simply click "Start" to initiate the process and follow the step-by-step guide provided below to create your goals.
Creating a Goal
