Where can employees access and complete performance reviews? Completing a review task is super simple - check out the steps below on how to mark this off of your to-do list!
- When a Team Member is assigned a Performance Review Task they will be notified that they have tasks to complete in their GoCo Inbox & through email.
- You can access your task by either clicking on the inbox card on the left-side navigation or the notification icon at the top right of your page. Here in your inbox, you will see your task.
- After selecting the task notification, you will be directed to the page where you can begin your first task, which in this case the Employee Self-Review.
- In the accompanying screenshot, you will observe that the full review task is displayed on the right side of your screen, while the steps for completing the review are outlined on the left. This task section contains all relevant details necessary for you to proceed. Depending on the task, it may appear with minimal text or include required fields that you must fill out. As illustrated in the example, the task assignee is expected to provide comprehensive responses as well as a self-assessment rating.
- Complete the form fields as they pertain to you, the employee.
- [Optional step] While inside a performance review, open the side panel to instantly reference key information related to you.

- Look within the four tabs that the side-panel provides to reference goals, reviews etc. To learn more about the employee side panel here.
- Change the status of the task to communicate where you are in regards to completion

- If you have fully completed the task - simply click on the blue "Complete" button and the task status will change to completed!
- If you haven't yet fully completed the task, there are more options! Click on the blue down arrow button next to "Complete" and you'll notice a few other options:
- Incomplete: this is the default and means you have not started to complete the task.
- In-Progress: this status means the task is in progress to completion.
- Blocked: this means you are unable to complete this task because you are blocked. Using the example of the screenshot in this article, perhaps the employee suddenly went on leave, or maybe you don't have transportation to take them to lunch.
- Canceled: this means the task doesn't apply, or no longer applies.
- Completed: this means the task has been completed!
