How to complete a Performance Review?

Where can employees access and complete performance reviews? Completing a review task is super simple - check out the steps below on how to mark this off of your to-do list!

  1. When a Team Member is assigned a Performance Review Task they will be notified that they have tasks to complete in their GoCo Inbox & through email.

  2. You can access your task by either clicking on the inbox card on the left-side navigation or the notification icon at the top right of your page. Here in your inbox, you will see your task.

  3. Once you have clicked on the task that needs to be completed. You'll be taken to the page to complete your first task, in this case, Employee Self-Review.

  4. As you can see, the steps of the entire review will show on your right side and your review to complete will be on the left side of your screen. This is where you'll see any and all details related to the task you need to complete. It could be blank - or there could be required fields you need to complete. Looking at the above screenshot example in this article, you'll notice the task assignee is required to give long answer texts and provide a rating on themselves.
  5. Complete the form fields as they pertain to you, the employee.
  6. Change the status of the task to communicate where you are in regards to completion
      1. If you have fully completed the task - simply click on the blue "Complete" button and the task status will change to completed!
      2. If you haven't yet fully completed the task, there are more options! Click on the blue down arrow button next to "Complete" and you'll notice a few other options:Screen Shot 2023-10-05 at 3.21.52 PM
        1. Incomplete: this is the default and means you have not started to complete the task.
        2. In-Progress: this status means the task is in progress to completion.
        3. Blocked: this means you are unable to complete this task because you are blocked. Using the example of the screenshot in this article, perhaps the employee suddenly went on leave, or maybe you don't have transportation to take them to lunch.
        4. Canceled: this means the task doesn't apply, or no longer applies.
        5. Completed: this means the task has been completed!
