What is GoCo's New Messages Feature? ✉️

So you've heard about GoCo's new Messages feature and you want to know more about it? Keep reading!

Messages is GoCo's newest add-on that will allow you to easily communicate with all of your employees at once! In a world where working from home is more common than ever, it's extremely important to stay connected with your employees. You can use this new feature for things like company-wide policy announcements, event invitations, and emergency announcements. 

You will have the ability to send messages to your employees by email or text message and even set up Messages to send automatically via workflow.

This new feature comes with a Free Trial option, to test out for 30 days at no additional cost. For more information on how this trial works & how to add this feature to your account, check out this help article.

  • Where do I find my sent messages & drafts?
    • All sent messages & drafts will be found in your Messages module, please keep in mind however that drafts created in your Workflows module will not appear here.
  • What happens to my messages if I don’t want to continue after the free trial or if I remove the feature in the future?
    • After you request to not continue with the feature, the add-on will be removed from the billing and you’ll no longer have access to the feature. The navigation link and the company card will both be removed. Any messages you sent while using the feature will be saved. You can always re-add the feature to continue where you left off. 
  • Can I create a message template?
    • As of now, template creation is not possible in the Messages module.
  • Can I schedule a message to be sent in the future?
