      When will GoCo remove a terminated employee from payroll?

      For customer's using GoCo Payroll Sync, GoCo will automatically remove terminated employees from payroll for you one of three ways.

      Option 1: The pay period AFTER termination

      Example: If John Doe is terminated on May 12, he will be removed from payroll on the May 26th payroll sync.

      Option 2: The SAME pay period as the termination

      Example: If John Doe is terminated on May 12, he will be removed from payroll on the May 10th payroll sync.

      Option 3: NEVER remove them from payroll

      Example: If John Doe is terminated on May 12, he will need to be removed from payroll by the company's payroll admin at a time of their choosing.
