What triggers and actions does GoCo support with Documents?

Now you can create recipes to trigger reminders, slack messages, emails, etc when a certain step of a document changes!

Here are some recipe examples that are now possible:

When a document is completed, send a copy via email

When an offer letter is signed, alert someone in Slack

When a Form I-9 document requires verification, post to MS Teams

Action: Start a document

This action has a super duper handy dropdown that shows all document templates. Simply select one or use the document ID.

Will show Template ID, Name, Description, and Kind

For recipe templates, we will need this action to filter by a hard-coded template name, or a variable the user can change to suit their needs.

What use cases are unlocked now?
- When a document is completed, upload to 3rd party
- When a document is completed, send copy of documents via email
- When an offer letter is signed, post a Slack message in a channel
- When a Form I-9 requires verification → post to slack or teams channel
- When a Form I-9 document is started --> post to Slack channel
- Schedule a document to send in the future
