How to use the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page in Benefit Administration

Enhancing employee benefits selection with the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page provide employees with the information they need before making benefit decisions.

The new Pre-Enrollment Landing Page is an enhancement to our benefits administration feature. This update allows administrators to display important pre-enrollment content to employees before they make their benefits selections, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.Screenshot 2025-02-04 at 11.24.04 AM-1

How to Use the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page

Please note: Most administrators will need to contact the GoCo team to enable this feature.

  1. Navigate to Benefits Administration in your admin dashboard.

  2. Click the policies tab and select the benefit line where you want to enable pre-enrollment content. Screenshot 2025-02-04 at 11.30.47 AM

  3. On Step 9, enable the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page option.Screenshot 2025-02-04 at 11.24.26 AM

  4. Customize the content to provide employees with key details about their benefits before they enroll. Note that you can add, images, videos, links and attach documents.  Screenshot 2025-02-04 at 11.24.52 AM

  5. "Save & Continue" the pre-enrollment content to ensure employees receive accurate and useful information.

Use Cases for the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page

Use Case 1: Providing General Plan Benefits Education

A company wants to ensure employees understand their plan benefits before enrollment begins. By using the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page, HR can provide educational resources, such as FAQs, videos, and plan summaries, giving employees time to review their options before making selections.

Use Case 2: Highlighting Plan Changes or Important Deadlines

If a company is making changes to benefit plans or has strict deadlines for enrollment, they can use the Pre-Enrollment Landing Page to highlight these updates. Employees can see what’s changing, compare plans, and be reminded of key deadlines, reducing last-minute confusion and support requests.

Use Case 3: Comparing Plan Options and Network Coverage

A company wants to help employees make informed decisions by providing clear comparisons between different plan types, such as HMO, PPO, and HDHP options. The Pre-Enrollment Landing Page can also include direct links to in-network vs. out-of-network provider directories and any special enrollment requirements, ensuring employees understand their choices and access relevant resources before selecting a plan.
