How to add Videos and Emojis to Messages

1. Login to GoCo as an Administrator & navigate to Messages from the left side navigation or click "View" on the Messages card.

2. Create a new message by selecting the blue "Send New Message" at the top right of your screen. 
3. Provide a Message Name and select Message Send Type from the dropdown. Click "Save & Continue".
4. Next is the Compose section of your Messages Module. Select who you want to send this message to by clicking on the pencil icon. Note you can filter by department, location, manager, etc.
5. Provide a subject for your message.
6. In the body of your message provide any text you would like to provide to your recipient/s. For example if you are sending out a welcome video to a new hire you can say something like "Hey Message Recipient Preferred First Name (variable field) we are so excited for you to join our team! Check out our video to learn more about what to expect on your first day!" 
7. Now click on the Video button located under the Message toolbar and paste your video URL into the provided space.

8. Once you have inserted your link and hit "Ok" you should see your video embedded into the message below!
9. Add any additional text after your video or fun emojis by clicking on the smiley face icon in the message toolbar to conclude your message. Then click "Continue to Preview"
   
10. Review for any last minute fixes and then select "Send Message" and you're all set!
