How do I reset Two-Factor Authentication for external users?

This article will help you restore access for your external user in the event that they have lost access to their linked Two-Factor device. Keep reading to learn more!

Situations can arise where you may need to assist an external user in resetting their 2-factor authentication, for example, maybe your user lost their device or they no longer have access to their connected device. Follow the steps below to reset it for them as Full Access Administrator.  

  1. Navigate to your Company Permissions app from the Company Homepage.
  2. Navigate to the User Level Permissions category.
  3. Locate the specified user & select the Ellipses button to display more options. Here hit the "Reset Two-Factor Authentication" & ta-da! 🎉
    Please note this will only be available for users who have set up two-factor authentication.
