Ben-Admin First Experience

We're using GoCo strictly for the Benefit experience, what does that look like?

GoCo's new Ben-Admin First Experience is designed specifically for our clients with Premium HR + Benefit Administration add-ons only. This new experience is streamlined and optimized around benefit administration. So what does this new experience look like? Let's take a look!

Benefit Dashboard

Upon logging in as a Benefit Processor or Full Access Admin, your first view will be the Benefit Dashboard.

This new Benefit Dashboard consolidates critical information and actionable insights in one place, allowing benefits to be managed more efficiently.

Here you will see any "New Hire Enrollment" information you have available & some statistics regarding your team. You can add or terminate new employees using the corresponding button on this widget.

They will also see "Benefit Notifications", which can be related to multiple events occurring in the benefit sync, "Resources" or Quick Links, "Open Enrollment" information & any "Current Published Policies" you have. 

How does the Employee Experience change?

When hiring employees using our Ben-Admin First Experience, your hiring workflows will be updated to hide certain irrelevant fields allowing a direct, simplified path to benefits enrollment, ensuring a focused and user-friendly introduction to the platform.

Employees will also be directed as soon as they complete onboarding to their "Active Benefits" tab in order to ensure that users will enroll in their benefits as quickly and efficiently as possible.

What excludes my group from having this experience?

This is only available to groups with PremiumHR + Ben Admin. If you want to enjoy more of GoCo's features and add-ons, you will keep the original experience. If you would like to try the Ben Admin experience, reach out to your GoCo representative to learn more. 

FAQ's

  • Can the disabled steps (from the hiring workflows) be re-enabled at a later date if I would like?
    • Yes they can! You would simply contact your GoCo representative and request to switch back to Standard HR mode.
  • What if I decide that I do want additional add-ons, such as Advanced PTO?
    • You'd contact your GoCo representative to request that we switch your account to Standard HR mode & add the requested add-ons. 
  • Will the Team Directory still be available to my employees in the Ben-Admin First experience? 
    • Yes! Employees will still see the Team Directory & Org Chart.
  • How will this work with my payroll provider?
    • Each payroll provider is different, so reach out to your GoCo Payroll Specialist Team to learn more about your specific provider and set up.
