When do Commuter benefit changes in GoCo become effective?

Any Commuter change made ON or BEFORE the 25th of the month will become effective 1st of the following month. Any change made AFTER the 25th of the month will become effective on the 1st of two months after the current month.

To ensure that the Commuter account is funded on time, employees must make any Commuter changes ON or BEFORE the 25th of each month.

If a change is made AFTER the 25th, it will become effective on the 1st of two months after the current month.

Example 1: Change BEFORE the 25th

John changes his commuter benefit on Jan 20.
The change will become effective on Feb 1st (the 1st of the following month).

Example 2: Change ON the 25th

John changes his commuter benefit on Jan 25.
The change will become effective on Feb 1st (the 1st of the following month).

Example 3: Change AFTER the 25th

John changes his commuter benefit on Jan 26.
The change will become effective on Mar 1st (the 1st of two months after the current month).
