When an employee submits a life event, you as the admin will need to approve it prior to processing.
You will have a task in your task list (the bell at the top right of your account) to approve or deny the life event. If the life event is legitimate, you'll approve it and then it will be submitted for processing with the appropriate carrier(s).
If this life event is not legitimate, you will need to deny it and we recommend having a conversation with your employee to explain why the life event was denied.
Qualified events include but are not limited to, marriage, divorce, birth, death. If you're unsure of what makes a life event legitimate or not, you'll want to reach out to your broker for additional guidance.
