What does the Slack integration do?

By integrating Slack and GoCo you can get notifications about holidays, birthdays, time off and more!

With the integration enabled, GoCo can push the following to Slack:

1. Birthdays
2. Work Anniversaries
3. Holidays
4. Out of the Office
5. Time Off requests

As a GoCo full access administrator you can funnel the birthdays, work anniversaries, holidays and out of office (you can also pick some and not others!) to a channel in your company's workspace. 

For Managers to receive Time Off Requests and Approve/Deny actions in Slack, they must update their Notifications.

• Simply login to your GoCo 
• Click on your name at the top right of the screen. Then select "My Account"
• Click on "Notifications" on the left hand column 
• Now Toggle ON Time Off Requests

Once set-up, managers can approve requests directly from Slack and employees will instantly get confirmation with a slack notification.
