Read Me Before Creating a Workflow!
You've attended Workflows Training, read this for a refresher before creating your first workflow.
When creating a workflow from scratch, you should first plan out the steps of your workflow in a chart similar to the one below that we used in training. You should break down your workflow by Task Title, Task Details, Task Assignees, Due Dates/Start Dates, Settings, & Workflow Groups.
Once you've built out the outline for your workflow you can get started creating! Check out this article on How to Create a Workflow.
Some things to note,
- Workflow Templates are separated into three categories: Hiring Workflows, Anonymous Workflows, & Other Workflows.
- Select whichever workflow category best fits your needs & create your template
- The "Start Task" is necessary to ensure your workflow activates correctly, do not remove the "Start Task".
- You can customize your Workflow Tasks by adding Workflow Fields, check them out here.
- Remember you can allow your employees to start Workflows for themselves, check out this article to learn how.
- You can also set Workflows to run on a schedule, learn how to here.
- If you would like to report on your Workflow, check out this article.
Happy Hiring! 🦖
