How to Archive & Unarchive Payrolls in GoCo

This makes it easier to focus on current payroll activities and ensures a clutter-free experience. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to archive and unarchive payrolls as a Payroll Admin.

- Easier Record Management: Archived payrolls are safely stored and can be unarchived at any time if needed.
How to Archive Payrolls

Log in as a Payroll Admin
Make sure you’re logged into your GoCo account with Payroll Admin privileges. -
Navigate to the Payroll App
From your navigation tabs, select the Payroll app. -
Locate the Payroll You Wish to Archive
Browse the list of payroll runs to find the one you want to archive. -
Click the Ellipses (⋯) Icon
Next to the payroll run, click on the ellipses to reveal additional options. -
Select "Archive"
Click Archive to hide this payroll run from the main view.
How to Unarchive Payrolls

Filter by Archived Payrolls
In the Payroll app, adjust the filter to display Archived payrolls. -
Locate the Payroll You Wish to Unarchive
Find the specific payroll run you want to restore. -
Click the Ellipses (⋯) Icon
Just like before, click the ellipses next to the payroll. -
Select "Unarchive"
Choose Unarchive to restore the payroll run to your main view.
