Calculated Fields in Workflows & Performance 

In keeping with our All-In-One strategy, we’re bringing new capabilities to Workflows and Performance. Users no longer need to export their data and perform calculations in another tool.

A new field type called “Automatic Calculation” is available inside Workflows and Performance Management. 

There are 3 calculation types: 

• Sum
• Median
• Average

Calculating using Sum, Median, Average

Simply choose numeric values from the multi-select dropdown. Numeric values in GoCo are performance and custom fields with the type: 

• Currency
• Number
• Opinion Scale

As well as any numerical Team Member fields like: 

• Employee wage rate
• Employee weekly wage
• Employee monthly wage
• Employee annual wage
• Employee hourly hours per week
• Employee hours per week

Calculating using Custom

Build your own equation using the Custom option.

You can use all the same fields as Sum, Average and Median, but you can also choose to input any numerical value.

In addition, custom calculations support applying weights to each value.

On the active review, there are 2 ways that the calculated values can be shown:

1. By using the field
